So finally the library on Bloor and Gladstone opened. And it's about friggin' time! When I started high school, it had been under construction for a couple of months, and then, almost 4 years later, it's done! And it looks
very nice! Seriously! (: Kinda excited about going back to school now. The school's library is old, and has wierd and out-of-date books. And now this new library is kinda neat-o! (:
Went on opening day, and man it was a hit. There was live music, and a brand new check out system, and of course, an oversized kids section with billions of little kids running around, but for a library, it wasn't very quiet.
One thing though: when I was looking for books, I avoided the big ones. Even though I was in the section where I knew I was going to take a book out, I avoided more than half because they looked too hard. :S Instead, I checked the skinnier books. I know, first I'm all excited about the library opening, and then I get all scarred of books again. Maybe because I'm on summer break. Yeah, that's it right?
Embarrasing TRUE secret about me: I have NEVER finished reading a book in high school. Not The Chrysalids, Janey's Child, Romeo and Juliet, Nobody's Child, Night, MacBeth,or Twelfth Night. SAD ): I'm ashamed!
Well, I still took out a book despite. It has no words, all it is is a piece book of a graffitti artist. Just a bunch of pictures! YAY! Maybe I should Stay in the kids section with the other billions of little screaming kids, I'll probably get along with them! D:
